Mrs Ethelston's is incredibly excited to be welcoming Sporting Chance coaches into our school every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

They are going to be working closely with staff and students to deliver first class PE to our school. Coaching standards are aligned with those defined by Sport England and OFSTED. Their coaches undergo regular review and assessment (at least every half term). They are committed to ongoing improvement and work within a framework of ‘setting-monitoring-reviewing’ performance management targets.

All sessions are designed in accordance with the new OFSTED framework.

So far, all the children have been very excited about what they have learnt already in PE. The coaches have designed a varied and balanced curriculum plan to be able to hit all aspects of the 2019 National Curriculum.

By buying into their curriculum programmes, we receive free access to fixtures and tournaments organised by Sporting Chance as well as regular CPD training for our staff.

All Sporting  staff are fully DBS checked, have a paediatric First Aid qualification and a Level 2 Safeguarding Qualification.
