Sports Premium
The Government is providing Primary Schools with additional funding of £8000 + £5 per pupil. The money is ring-fenced and is to be spent on improving physical education and sport. This has been doubled this year.
Money at Mrs Ethelston's is used for
- Support teachers in delivering the PE curriculum, providing specialist teaching and CPD where appropriate
- Provide best equipment to facilitate high quality teaching
- Provide experiences which inspire and motivate
- Increase participation and breadth of experience through outside coaches, tournaments and sports events within and beyond the MAT
